Q: Hyundai Tucson?
Does anyone out there have a Hyundai Tucson? How do they like it? Performance, comfort, overall, etc. ?

A: No, but I have a Sante Fe and bought it due to the raves I heard about it. And the raves were correct. I really like my little SUV.

Q: hyundai tucson?
would buying hyundai tucson be a sensible decision. it is a crossover kind .

A: If you think you need the space of an SUV I would recommend crossovers, which are suvs built on car platforms. The tucson is a great reliable little crossover with value packed in, but it suffers in gas mileage. It averages about 16 mpg which is not much better than a huge Chevy Tahoe. I would possibly recommend the Toyota Rav4, because it does get better gas milage and it is the same size as the Hyundai Tucson. Although the Rav4 does cost more, so it just depends if you want to spend the money now on a more economical car or later on frequent trips to the pump. The Hyundai is not a bad car. at all. but I think that there are better choices such as honda cr-v’s or the toyota rav4’s. If you particularly like the hyundai then I would buy it and ignore people that say Suvs are bad, because the tucson is not an suv at all. its just a tall station wagon that the car companies market as crossovers. Go for the tucson if you want it though.

Q: What is the color of my Hyundai Tucson bumper?
My Hyundai Tucson is aqua silver in color. Could any one out there tell me as to the exact color of its bumper?

A: It depends what model you have. I have a Tuscon Xenith in black and the bumpers are colour coded, also the Limited ones are also colour coded. The only ones I have seen in Aqua Silver have black matt bumpers. Best to contact your local dealer, they can advise you I’m sure.

Q: Where can I find programming for a Hyundai Tucson keyless entry?
I lost one of my key fobs for my 2006 Hyundai Tucson, and can purchase a new one on eBay, but have not been able to find anywhere to purchase or obtain for free the programming for it. I have seen on other websites that the programming for other cars is available. Does anyone know where a site is that can direct me to obtaining this?

A: with the hyundias or at least all the new modles it will have to bo done at the dealership. they have to use the scantool to program the remotes. this is the only way to do it now.

Q: What is the year of the Hyundai Tucson that it comes in the aqua blue color?
Hyundai Tucson in aqua blue. What year was that? What is the name of the color?

A: 05&06 models only. Has been discontinued in 07 and replaced with Nautical Blue

Q: How do I get an iPod cable for a Hyundai Tucson?
I have a 2011 limited edition Tucson. It didn’t appear to come with a cable so I can hook up my iPod (it does have a port), and it needs an AUX and USB caable to work. The book says only to use Hyundai cable’s. Should it have come with the cable, and if not, is there a website to purchase from or do I have to go back to the dealer?

A: That’s a joke, take your ipod to radio shack and tell them what you need. You can try them right there and make sure they work. No they wouldn’t have given you a cable from Hyundai either.

Q: What do you think about the Hyundai Tucson?
I am looking for everyone’s general opinion on the Hyundai Tucson. How it looks, drives, handles, or what you have read about it. Thanks.

A: Here are 23 user reviews from yahoo auto on the Tucson, its a great place to live by the way!
Fun to drive and good room for dog and golfers. Seats fold flat very easily and the middle armrest serves as a seat for small dog. Sports shift is fun, but the engine power curve needs to be flattened. It seems to bog at lower RPMs

Q: What do you think of the 2010 Hyundai Tucson?
I am interested in getting a small suv very soon. I looked at the Honda CRV, Toyota Rav 4 and the Tucson. I am petite (5 feet), I felt the Rav 4 was big and I didn’t love the CRV. I liked the look of the Tucson and I felt comfortable in it. You always hear how great Honda and Toyota are and I was wondering how are the Hyundai’s. Thank you for your help!

A: The 2010 Tucson is a great vehicle and if you like it go for it – you won’t be disappointed. I own a 2009 i30 (Elantra Touring in N. America) in Korea and I absolutely love this car.

In 2004, Hyundai tied with Honda for initial brand quality in a survey/study from J.D. Power and Associates, for having 102 problems per 100 vehicles. This made Hyundai second in the industry, only behind Toyota, for initial vehicle quality. The company continued this tradition by placing third overall in J.D. Power’s 2006 Initial Quality Survey, behind only Porsche and Lexus. Hyundai/Kia Automotive Group is the world’s fourth largest automaker (second in Asia) in terms of units manufactured and sold per year and one of the Big Asian Four (with Toyota, Honda and Nissan).

In recent interviews with Toyota executives, they have expressed concerns about Hyundai-Kia and their market share. Hyundai-Kia is the only automobile manufacturer that Toyota fears – and that says something. Kia is also moving up sales rapidly, even quicker than Hyundai due to their improving quality and design (hired the head designer from Audi about two years ago). Hyundai-Kia is the fastest growing foreign brand in China and is the largest exporter of cars in India (Hyundai has plants in both countries). Hyundai-Kia was the only major automaker to sell more vehicles in 2009 than 2008.

Q: How many KM do you get on your Hyundai Tucson on a full tank of gas? V6 Model?
I have a Hyundai Tucson V6 model, had it over a year and it runs amazing. No complaints about it all, but more a concern, I’m interested in what other owners are getting on a full tank of gas on there Tucsons? What is your total KM? Thanks

A: What year model is your car?
Depending on year model, they had a different final drive ratio due to excessive fuel usage.
If you are getting 450km per tank around town – this is normal. On freeways it, of course, should be better.
We have a close friend who gets 450 to 550km in city driving per tank and is very impressed.

Q: can somebody please tell me if buying a hyundai tucson is a good buy ?
if you can rate it from 1-10 how will you rate it . i’m interested in buying a car which should be affordable i like hyundai tucson but i have no idea about it quality and comfort and safety for my kids can anyone advise pls . thanks a lot

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – autoinsurance.undonet.com

Q: Pls give me your insight about the Hyundai Tucson?
I am looking to buy a new car and looking at the Hyundai Tucson. What are the pros and cons if you own one or if you know someone that owns on? Pls… your answer should pertain to the Hyundai Tucson? Thanks in advance. :-)

A: I see plenty of them in Maryland and it looks like a solid small SUV. It’s too small and lacking power for my needs as a married parent of 2 kids with a motorcycle trailer, I much prefer the Santa Fe. I know that Hyundai has won many awards and has been producing very good vehicles throughout the 2000’s that cost less then Toyota/Honda. We own a 2006 Azera and its been perfect for us so far.
You can check reviews at http://www.edmunds.com and http://www.hyundaiusa.com and do comparisons with other brands/models.

Q: What is the best Canadian price for 2007 Hyundai Tucson GLS All Wheel Drive Model?
I want to purchase 2007 Hyundai Tucson but I just don’t know what is the best price for it. Therefore I don’t know where to begin to bargain with the car dealer!?!?!?! Please help!!!

A: Go to your bank and ask what it would be assessed at if you were to apply for a loan – they give great estimates, very accurate, based on condition and mileage.

Q: I want to buy the 2007 Hyundai Tucson but someone said i shouldn’t cos it’s a terrible car. Is this true?
I don’t know anything about cars and will really appreciate if the car gurus could tell me the advantages and disadvantages, if any of owning the Tucson.

A: I’ve owned Hyundai’s since 1997 and have not had any of the problems, that I have had with American cars. By the way Hyundai has a 100,000 mile ten year warranty. Ask the other car dealers will they give you the same without charging you. By the way the person giving you advise probably don’t know anything about cars either.
